Graduated and non-graduated student over the age of 18
ConnectEd offers a variety of courses for the adult student. Students register in our adult program for a variety of reasons. Some wish to upgrade courses or take courses required for post-secondary programs. Others wish to complete the requirements for graduation.
An adult high school diploma is the British Columbia Adult Graduation Diploma, also known as the “Adult Dogwood.” It is for adult learners 18 years of age and older who want to take courses in order to complete high school and obtain their adult high school diploma. To graduate with an Adult Dogwood, students must have an English 12, or First Peoples English 12, Math 11 Workplace (or higher), and at least three additional Grade 12 electives or Socials 11 and two additional Grade 12 electives. *Two courses can be started and carried forward before the age of 18.
